Since 2020, the fluctoplasma festival has been fighting against the isolation of social bubbles through art and political discourse. In times of rising right-wing and anti-democratic forces in Europe, the festival advocates for a fluid and solidarity-based society, providing space for encounters and political exchange, as well as intersectional boxing courses and party sets to dance the night away, to stand together for an open and diverse society. In this workshop Tuğsal Moğul (director, author) and Ibrahim Arslan (survivor of the racist arson attacks in Mölln in 1992 and political educator) delve into the question of how art can be combined with political activism and community work. They focus on the processing of the attacks in Mölln and Hanau and explore how art can be used as a means for society to process terror.
