nO Obstacles – Web lab for accessibility in the performing arts

In collaboration between Fringify – Independent Arts Festival Hamburg and Theater Thikwa from Berlin, an inclusive web laboratory and a series of workshops for young artists, students and cultural practitioners were developed. In three consecutive online workshops, different thematic focuses and work areas were examined for their potential for change concerning accessibility and inclusion.. Participants came together with ensemble members from Theater Thikwa and experts from Hamburg and Berlin to generate knowledge and promote an interdisciplinary exchange aimed at breaking down barriers in the performing arts and increasing the accessibility of cultural offerings. The participants will present the results of the three workshops at the festival’s opening event.
