We’re celebrating the big anniversary with cake, drinks, and the fantastic sounds of Hamburg-based artists and Golden Pudel Club residents—Shimmy Robin, co-founder of the Oszil series, and Davin Underwood, part of the dynamic duo ISLE OF WAX.
Shimmy Robin invites the audience on an adventure through deeply hypnotic techno soundscapes. Moving from light to darkness and back again, her sets build up to highly immersive percussive tribal sounds. Whether house or techno, her playful and driving sets reach their peak with vocals, adding an extra layer of spice to create and release tension. She shapes her sets with a dramaturgical structure that leaves space for intense emotions. Based in Hamburg, she is also an event organizer as part of the OSZIL collective and co-runs the blipmotif event series at the legendary underground Golden Pudel Club.
Davin Underwood is a US native currently living in Hamburg and a member of the Isle of Wax collective, which organizes parties, a mix series, and a YouTube channel showcasing lesser-known records that deserve a second chance. He also hosts Uniform Variations on dublab, where he explores classic and contemporary electronic music, ranging from ambient to club-oriented dance music. His guest mixes have been featured on renowned radio stations and platforms such as The Lot Radio, Refuge Worldwide, Headphone Magic, Free Shelter, and CTW Podcasts.
