The approach: changing behaviors and relations through targeted hacking of the microbiome. The artist collective PARA establishes a temporary pop-up store with a sauerkraut production site, turning the audience into collaborators in concrete redistribution. The bacteria transfer from hand to cabbage while kneading. The fermenting cabbage becomes a carrier for societal discomfort.
Now it’s time to distribute: Feed your friends and enemies, your bosses and landlords, and maybe even yourself. So let’s consume ourselves. Let’s feed the rich!
