Sfärisk is an interdisciplinary musical and visual performance that aims to dissolve traditional boundaries between musical categories and between high culture and subculture and to create a space for new sonic and social perspectives. At its core, the project combines influences from black metal, drone and ambient with elements of contemporary music, spatial sound design and an intense visual and atmospheric level. The drums take center stage as a sculptural object – fast blast beats are hypnotically pervasive, while a gentle surface of electronic sounds, vocals and wind instruments form the harmonic foundation.
Sfärisk – music performance with powerful images

Sfärisk is a special music and art performance.

It brings together very different styles of music:
– Black Metal
– Drone and ambient music
– Contemporary music

It’s about dissolving boundaries:
Between music genres,
between high culture and subculture,
between hearing and seeing.

The focus is on the drums –
It is like a sculpture on stage.
The fast drum rhythms (blast beats)
are combined with calm sounds,
vocals and wind instruments.

There are also strong light and image effects.
This creates a space for new sounds,
new ideas –
and new ways of experiencing the world.
